Water is in very short supply for many living in the West Bank and Gaza. Families will often go for days without any significant supply and have to purchase water from tankers that is very expensive. A simple solution is to renovate or install a water tank on the roof which captures the rain water. This was recently undertaken at a modest cost of £250 for one family and subject to available funds a programme is to be implemented across many more families. Surely the availability of water is a basic right for every individual?
